What is Acharya Vidya Kula's admission process?The first step towards the admission process is printing of the registration form available online. Parents have to fill this and submit the physical form to the office. At the time of submission, an application fee will be charged. The students then need to appear for an aptitude test. Shortlisted students and parents are then called for a personal interaction with members of the Admissions Panel. For further information, parents are requested to make an enquiry or schedule a visit to the Campus.

Can I visit the school campus?Throughout the year we would usually hold a number of Open Days which allow you to get a feel for the school, meet key members of staff and ask any questions you may have. Click here to book a school visit

Can you give me more information on the assessments that are a part of the admissions process?At the Play Group stage we have an informal interaction with the children. At the Grade 1 level an aptitude test based on the school academic requirements is conducted. For children applying for chance vacancies an aptitude test is conducted based on the grade level being applied for.

Does school provide lunch?No. Not yet. Children are requested to carry vegetarian snacks and meals from home.

Do you have residential facilities in your school?We are a day school and do not have residential or boarding facilities.

What are the extra curricular activities the school offers?AVK offers a wide variety of sports and art based extra-curricular activities on an inter-house and inter-school level. There are active sports teams available for students to join at every stage of their school journey like football, cricket etc. There are also various debate, quiz and drama competitions taking place across the academic year. Apart from sports, our students are offered dance, drama, art, music – Indian and western, yoga and Socially Useful and Productive Work (SUPW).

How does school communicate with parents?Each class has a WhatsApp group for the parents and the teachers. This is used to update the parents on the day to day happenings at school. If parents want to meet a teacher, co ordinator or the principal, they are free to walk into school on Saturdays from 9 A.M. to 1 P. M.

Does the school provide transport service?Yes, the school provides bus transport service at an additional cost.

How many students do you have in each grade? How many sections/divisions do you have in each class?Each Grade has 60 students. There are 2 sections in each class. There are 30 students in each section.

Do you have a provision to help students who need extra assistance?Yes, supplementary classes are taken on Saturdays to aid students who need extra help or a different way of instruction.
